It is fixed by the springs. At this procedure the precise extension sensors are blocked at neutral position. After the adaption they will be delocked and a zero adjustment (ZERO potentiometer) will be performed. The compression test will be done; before rupture of the specimen the extensiometer should be removed. The removement can be performed even when sample is under load.

      Design Lacquered steel sheet stand with mounted U-tube manometer. The manometer is equipped with a conical seat for the measuring cell and level marks for the manometer fluid. The measuring cell is made of stainless steel and fits exactly to the conical seat of the U-tube manometer. Behind the manometer a mirror is mounted to avoid reading errors. To record the ambient temperature a thermometer is installed on the instrument.

Analysis of the setting behaviour of dental gypsum in accordance with DIN EN 26873.   Design The drop rod is guided almost frictionless within a stand, which is firmly mounted onto the base plate of the instrument. The different penetrators are easy to insert into the drop rod by a knurled screw. The required additional weights are easy to insert. An adjustable scale enables the specific adjustment of the drop height. The ambient temperature is measured by an integrated reference thermometer.

The compression device model 4030 is designed for specimens which testing surfaces are too small to adjust the pressure plates of the testing machine in parallel to the specimen surface.   Design The compression device consists of a rigid frame with a fixed lower pressure plate and a spherically seated upper pressure plate. A plunger enables the load transmission from the testing machine to the compression device. Both pressure plates are made of carbide metal (tungsten carbide), are ground and are not twistable against each other.
