Application

 

The Le Chatelier water bath allows a controlled boiling of cement samples using Le Chatelier moulds (needles). The soundness test is used to determine the possible risk of delayed expansion of cement due to hydration.
The water bath corresponds exactly to the requirements of the standard EN 196-3 and performs an autonomous and controlled test cycle.

Description

Design / Operating Principle

After placing the Le Chatelier moulds into the basket, the basket is placed into the water bath using the handle. The adjusted test cycle will be activated by pressing ”Start“.
The temperature is maintained at boiling conditions for three hours. Heating will stop automatically at the end of the cycle.
