Description

Design

Rigid four-column load frame with high longitudinal and lateral stiffness.

Base mounted plunger drive. Piston hardened, piston and cylinder micro finished. Piston equipped with protection cover and stroke indication.

Pressure plates hardened and ground (HRC ≥ 58).

Upper pressure plate tiltable up to 3° in spherical seat.

Lower pressure plate equipped with cross hairs.

Load frame integrated in a system working table, dimensions and design matching with the ToniNORM Power-box, model 2010. Rigid frame made of steel sections cased by coated steel panels. Solid table top covered with stainless steel.

 

Operating Principle

The load frame is connected to the ToniNORM Powerbox and to the ToniTROL control system. Tests are prepared, performed and evaluated via software. Controlled by a servo valve in closed loop control.

Load measuring by precision load cell on DMS basis for load frames up to 300 kN load as standard. Load frames with higher load capacity are equipped with an oil pressure transducer. Load frames with a higher load capacity than 300 kN are optionally available with a load cell on DMS basis.
