Load Frame for Compressive Strength Tests – Model 2031

Load frame in compact design for the standard-compliant compressive strength tests on building materials, preferably for efficient routine tests and quality control on:

Concrete cylinders 150 x 300 mm or 160 x 320 mm according to EN 12390-3
Concrete cubes with 100 mm, 150 mm or 200 mm edge length according to EN 12390-3

Description

Design

Rigid, four-column load frame in space-saving compact design.

Plunger piston mounted at base. Piston hardened, piston and cylinder micro finished. Piston equipped with protection cap and stroke indication; with angular pressure plates additionally with torsion safety. Columns clamped free of play. Bearing blocks hardened and ground (hardness HRC > 55). Upper bearing block tillable up to 3° in spherical seat. Lower bearing block equipped with cross hairs and centering ring 155 mm.

 

Working Principle

The load frame is connected to the TONINORM power box with TONITROL control system. Tests are prepared, performed, monitored, and evaluated via software. Controlled by a servo valve in closed loop. Load measuring with precision oil pressure transducer.

Waste trap sheet 2091.X000.39: Lower pressure plate equipped with waste trap sheet (right and left)

Two auxiliary plates 2091.X000.44: 300 mm, 65 mm high, to be placed below the lower pressure plate

Piston stroke 200 mm 2031.X000.51: Extension of the piston stroke from 65 mm to 200 mm

Auxiliary plate movable by sliding rails 2091.X000.61: 320 x 520 mm, 75 mm high, hardened and ground. Only suitable with pressure plates 320 x 520 mm

Test area protection 2091.X000.82: consisting of an all-around closed cage, made of profiles with makrolon panes (high-strength plastic material). One door (front side) with electrical safety switch. (Requested in EU for CE conformity)

 

Auxiliary plates 4090.XXX: in different highs

Centering templates 4400.XXX: for different specimen formats, adapted to the different pressure plate sizes
