Load Frame for Flexural Strength Tests – Model 2071

Load frame for standard-compliant testing of the flexural strength of gypsum plates, plates made of fiber materials, concrete bars, concrete stone products (curb stones, paving stones), building material specimens and whole components, e.g. according to EN 12390-5.

Description

Design

Rigid load frame with high transverse and longitudinal stiffness. Upper and lower cross head firmly connected with four pre-stressed columns. The columns are chromium-plated. Top mounted hydraulic actuator with integrated return action (double acting). The actuator is suitable for the control in counter flow and inward flow. The force measurement is realized by a DMS load cell directly integrated into the flux of force.

The lower cross head of the load frame serves as bending bridge. The bending supports are directly mounted onto the cross head and are stepless adjustable. One support roller is fixed, the other one as well as the loading roller are tiltable mounted. The loading roller or respectively the bending tool is directly attached to the DMS load cell.

 

Operating Principle

The load frame is connected to the ToniNORM-Power-box and linked to the ToniTROL. The tests are prepared, monitored and evaluated by the ToniTROL or with a PC by the software testXpert. The system is controlled by a servo valve in a closed-loop operation. The force measurement is realized by a high precision load cell on DMS basis.

 

Delivery Includes

The load frame and the bending supports are part of the standard delivery. The needed bending tools must be selected according to the requested application and compliant with the test load of the frame.
